My name is Samantha Osiecki and I'm a photographer currently based out of Charlotte.
I fell in love with the analog processes of photography almost 10 years ago. Throughout my career at Savannah College of Art and Design, I deepened this love and finished with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Photography as well as a minor in Printmaking. Although the darkroom was my first love and I'm always searching for projects that allow me to regress, I have transitioned to mostly digital work. Developing my skills in the darkroom (full pun intended!), allowed me to create a set of digital editing skills that far surpass the adjustments that could be made in a darkroom. I still aim to create an image that needs as little post-processing as possible, but when a project calls for it, seamless editing is my forte.
Over these last 10 years, I have worked hard to mold my style and through my own personal projects and collaboration with other artists and creative personalities, I am confident in the photographer I have become. Creating art while also telling a story has become one of my favorite occupations – so lets work together, tell a story and create some art!
